The Village of Chippawa is located in the city of Niagara Falls, approximately two kilometres upstream from the Falls. The Welland River flows through the village to the Niagara River, giving Chippawa a true cottage town atmosphere that makes it a wonderful place for swimmers, rafters and boaters. You don't need a cottage when you live here.


Founded in 1850, Chippawa became part of the City of Niagara Falls in 1970. The historic village is home to many centuries old homes and buildings, offering a charming pace of life away from the tourists and attractions of the Falls.


Shops, restaurants and small town amenities are all close at hand, giving residents everything they need without giving up the quiet they came for.
